Carrboro, the Paris of the Piedmont, will be the scene this Friday of Argentine tango with a French touch. We invite you to Join the Triangle Tango community for a magical night of dancing at Open Eye Cafe.
Our May Milonga will feature Xavier Mela and his lovely wife, Patricia Owens who will add a decidedly French touch to this month’s Milonga. Xavier and Patricia will teach the free lesson from 8 to 9 PM. Xavier will be playing the best of tango tunes as our DJ for the evening.
Your host will be Belgian milonguero, Daniel Bossut, who will greet you in French, English, Spanish or maybe in Chinese if you prefer.
Put on your dancing shoes, order a glass of French wine or maybe a Malbec from Mendoza and step out onto the dance floor.
Dancing begins at 9 – 11:30.
