Triangle Tango is pleased to host Mandragora on January 23rd for a live music milonga! Mandragora is a band of musicians from Minneapolis MN. They have been delighting dancers with their music since 2001. The band just released a new CD this past September. We are also excited to have Daniel Arredondo, from Charlotte’s Passion for Tango, as our guest DJ for the event! Daniel is originally from Argentina and has been involved in tango as an instructor, and performer for many years.
Admission will include wine and light refreshments. We expect tremendous interest in this event so admission will be limited. Get your ticket early! Bring a copy of your completed transaction for entry to the milonga.

Dmitri Ponarin and Ozlem Tanik are hosting a Saturday afternoon milonga at the Morrisville Prime Outlet Mall. This is a great chance to get exposure to a non-tango audience. There is lots of space and a beautiful hardwood floor for dancing. Dmitri will DJ and instruct a tango lesson prior to the dancing. Beginning August 18th, Rick Jorgensen will host a milonga on the 3rd Tuesday. The milonga will be held at Studio 91 in Meadowmont Village. Studio 91 is a fine art gallery and wine bar in Meadowmont Village, an awesome neo-traditional neighborhood in Chapel Hill North Carolina. Please join Rick for a special weeknight milonga!

Triangle Tango’s 1st Saturday Milonga is held at the Triangle Dance Studio. Please join us for an evening of dancing and light refreshments. The DJs and Hostesses will vary month-to-month. We will also be using either the upstairs or downstairs studio.

Rick Jorgensen will be hosting a milonga on the 2nd Thursday of the month. The venue is Restaurant Eden in Durham. Restaurant Eden offers a full dinner menu weekdays until 10 p.m. Take a look at Restaurant Eden’s website for menu offerings, directions, or to make a reservation, www.restaurantedenonline.com. The restaurant will be arranged Buenos Aries style, with the tables around the dance floor.
Rick will be offering a free lesson from 8:30 - 9:30. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in tango but is unsure of committing to a full month of classes. Tell your friends!
